We DID it!!!

At the beginning, this exhibition was just a way to promote ourselves to potential employers and/or clients.
In the end, it became so much more than that - it became a proud moment for all of us - it became the proof of our many years of hard work in the many fields of Art and Design here in LUCT.

To wrap things up, we want Thank:
+ Our family & friends - who were always there for us, and for believing in us.
+ Our mentors for showing us the way, and for allowing us to be the best of ourselves.
+ Everyone who has worked hard with us to get this exhibition off the ground (CIRA, FDI, our sponsors - y'all rock!).
+ All 200(-ish) of our guests who came all the way to Cyberjaya to support us!
+ Lastly, to each and every of us in BPD8. This was a real team effort, all this would not have come together if even one of us gave up. It has been real blast guys!

1666, Isaac Newton found out about Gravity
2008, Graduates of Bachelor (Hons) Professional Design will be Defying Gravity.

The gravity we speak of here is the pressure that graduates are face by when they are about to hit the industry. This pressure forces most grads to become "just another graphic designer" - the one that is expected to have lots of skill, but lack creativity and passion in their work.

We will Defy this Gravity in this graduate showcase by showing our true potential - to show our different strengths and how we use them to make our designs break out of the box!

Come join us Graphic Designers, Multimedia Designers, Photographers, Illustrators and much more, and let us find out how we can Defy Gravity together.
Nothing is ever gonna bring us down!

About Us

There are 25 of us in this class, and we're a pretty mixed group.

The course we're in - Professional Design - trains us to design in more than one discipline.

We actually major in either Advertising or Multimedia Design, but we have been encouraged to experiment beyond just that.

As a result, our class also now have Photographers, Illustrators, and even some designers-entrepreneurs who sell their works regularly.

Best thing is, we're not done experimenting - we want to keep learning!
